As a News2 Reporter, I’m tasked with creating a minimum of two packages a day for the 7pm newscast, on top of additional VOs, VO/SOTs, fullscreens and readers as the news director requires. All stories are assigned during the 9am morning news meeting, and must be completed by newstime.

News2 Reporters operate as a one-man band. I am responsible for all aspects of my story assignments, from researching, writing, shooting B-roll, conducting interviews to editing.
